Welcome to our class blog!
The word "blog" comes from the words "web log." A log is a kind of diary or journal where a person records, or writes down, information. Blogs go further -- they allow lots of people to share opinions, ideas, and informatation with each other online.
The purpose of our class blog is to improve our thinking, writing and overall communication skills. In order to participate in our class blog, you must either be a member of our class (former members of our class are welcome too) or a family member of a student. We have a "secure" blog, which means that you need a password to read and post information on our blog.
This is a place where I will ask for your ideas and opinions about different topics. You will post on this page and your classmates and I will respond to your posts. As with everything else in life, there are rules. You are expected to be a responsible participant in the "great online conversation!" Click here to read the Blogging Rules.
